I’ve published an article on how to build a portfolio. I will drop the link to the article below in case you missed it.

As a designer, it’s very important to build a portfolio for your work.
An online portfolio is like an online resume.
A portfolio helps to showcase your work.
It also opens you up to the world.
We live in a global society. Having an online presence is the best.

It makes it easy for clients to locate and reach out to you.
A portfolio showcases your ability, credibility and versatility.

Today I want to recommend some websites that allow you to create your portfolio directly online.

This will make it easy for you to access it, share with possible client and update when necessary.

Behance

Behance is a great portfolio tool for designers.
It is a social media platform for designers with over 10 million users active.
Behance is more about showing the entire design projects in detail.
Behance is more accessible and let you create entire case studies.
Due to this, it’s very easy to build a UX portfolio on this platform. Behance is a completely free portfolio website to showcase your work.

Dribbble

Dribble offers creatives in the visual space such as designers, photographers, and illustrators an opportunity to share their work with a huge community of artists.
On dribble, users can show off their project in progress.

That means it doesn’t have to be finished yet for you to put it in your portfolio.
Recruiters from the brands and companies such as Google, Apple, and AirBnB have used Dribbble to find talented designers for new gigs and careers.

This site also has a job board for designers who are actively searching for jobs.

Dribble is also a free website to showcase your designs.

Instagram

Instagram is an excellent website to show off images and designs. This is a great platform if you’re looking to connect with other designers as well. There you can search through their profile for inspiration and networking.

Using Instagram for your portfolio is completely free also.

That means no payment is necessary to start uploading and sharing your designs

Cargo

Cargo is a very simple portfolio creator — but don’t be fooled by the simplicity. The portfolios created with Cargo are beautiful and easily customized.

Cargo is one of the portfolio websites that give you a free trial period before jumping into a paid premium membership.

All you have to do as a designer is create an account and then get started crafting a portfolio that’ll blow potential clients away.

Coroflot

Coroflot is one of the most popular design communities out there. Designers can craft profiles and portfolios to share their work with a community of other designers.
This site also comes with a job board for designers which allows you to look for your ideal job position.
Coroflot made it possible to also view their detailed salaries section to know if the price is right for your next job.

Coroflot is a completely free website to use.

I hope you find this piece useful.
